Trexo Robotics is a Canadian company developing wearable robotic gait trainers to help children with mobility impairments experience walking. Their flagship products, Trexo Home and Trexo Plus, are designed for home and clinical use, respectively, providing adjustable support for children with conditions like cerebral palsy, spinal muscular atrophy, and other neuromuscular disorders. The devices offer customizable gait patterns, real-time data tracking, and are compatible with Rifton Dynamic Pacers, facilitating over-ground walking both indoors and outdoors.
Founded in 2016 by Manmeet Maggu and Rahul Udasi, Trexo Robotics was inspired by a personal mission to assist Maggu's nephew. The company has since enabled children to take over 100 million steps collectively, aiming to enhance independence and quality of life for young users.
