Trepo

Trepo is building a way for people to order groceries directly from their fridge, turning the kitchen into the place where grocery delivery, online grocery shopping, and restocking actually start. By focusing on simple in-home interactions and tight relationships with major grocery partners, Trepo aims to make everyday grocery planning, reordering, and delivery more automatic, predictable, and aligned with how households already live around the fridge.

Founded in 2025 by Matt Taylor and Zach Slaughter, Trepo draws on hardware engineering and partnerships experience to move quickly from idea to real-world pilots. Matt Taylor is a hardware engineer who previously worked at Tesla and Nuro and rapidly built new versions of Trepo’s product in the lab, while Zach Slaughter leads partnerships and brand, securing early pilots with grocery partners. Together they are methodically testing how fridge-first grocery ordering can scale with large retail partners.
