About
In a world where virtual reality too often feels isolating, Trass Labs is building social playgrounds that bring people together. Their debut title, Yeeps: Hide and Seek, is a free‑to‑play VR game where you embody a soft, agile creature—sprinting, gliding, and building on the fly to outsmart friends in modes like Hide & Seek and Prop Hunt.
What makes Trass Labs different is their focus on player creativity and community. An easy, block‑based building toolkit lets anyone design forts, traps, or entire maps mid‑game, and regular content drops keep every session feeling fresh. By blending fast‑paced movement with intuitive creation tools, they’ve crafted a space where casual hangouts and competitive chaos coexist.
Founded by long‑time collaborators Jack Southard, Steve Shockey, and Nathan Jew — who cut their teeth on indie VR prototypes before officially launching Trass Labs in 2022—the studio operates with an indie spirit and a player‑first mindset. Their goal is simple: make social VR that’s accessible, endlessly replayable, and most of all, fun. Dive into Yeeps and see what they’re building next.
