About

Colossus is a permissionless credit card network that settles transactions in stablecoins while plugging into the existing payments stack. The network is designed to work with today’s credit card acquirers, EMV standards, and point-of-sale terminals, so issuers and merchants can access on-chain settlement without changing how they run cards in-store or online. By mapping a stablecoin settlement layer onto familiar card rails, Colossus targets the same distribution footprint as incumbent networks with a fundamentally different underlying treasury and settlement model.

Founded in 2025 by Joseph Delong, Colossus reflects deep experience at the intersection of crypto infrastructure and financial systems. A second-time founder and former CTO of SushiSwap, Joseph also helped build the Teku consensus client, giving him end-to-end exposure to both DeFi products and Ethereum consensus software. Colossus grows out of that background: a network built by someone who has already shipped and operated large-scale crypto systems, now focused on making stablecoin-based credit cards feel as standard and dependable as any legacy card in a customer’s wallet.
