Clusy is building the best AI IDE for working with Jupyter Notebooks.

Clusy reimagines the notebook for AI-native data science and computational research. Based on the limitations we encountered using general-purpose coding agents with notebooks, we built a kernel-aware agent that can work across the full computational workflow: sourcing data, autonomously writing and executing code, fixing errors, and managing packages, runtimes, and notebook state. Clusy also supports state snapshotting for moving work across compute environments without losing progress, and notebook branching for running parallel experiments from a shared execution state rather than being constrained to a linear workflow.

Founded by 3 friends who met during their master’s at Imperial College London with computational research backgrounds and years of accumulated frustration with Jupyter notebooks: Ju Lin, Fouzil Ali, and Eldar Hasanov.
