Community Update + Night Hack

By Adrianna, July 9th, 2026

Hi there,

There’s a lot happening on campus right now.

Off Season is in full swing, Open Campus is picking up, Night Hack is back, and the lab is full of founders making the place feel alive.

Here's a quick campus roundup, plus a few  upcoming events we're hosting this summer:

Night Hack · June 24

Night Hack is a nocturnal hack night (say that 10x fast) at the Founders, Inc. lab. Build hardware, software, or both. Agents, robots – whatever.

The goal is simple: ship something real in one night. Live demos only. No slides. No localhost.

Space is limited, and we’re curating the room with the most ambitious technical builders.

Open Campus · June 10

We’ve also been running Open Campus sessions in the evenings from 5-10pm. Its for for builders who want to see the space, meet other people building, and get a feel for what’s happening here.

The goal is simple: bring together builders at different stages, whether they’re already running a company or figuring out what to build.

Come by, meet people, work for a bit, grab a snack, and get a feel for the place.

It's already brought in some fun moments, from a 16-year-old AI researcher who flew in from DC to build, to a team that brought a Unitree robot walking around the lab with a Founders, Inc. logo. #notsponsored (lol)

Off Season II: Class is in session

We’re in the middle of Off Season, our summer program for students, dropouts, recent grads, and early founders building IRL in SF.

This batch has more than 200 builders. Some flew across the country. Some quit jobs. Some drove 14 hours with a cofounder and a dog.

We’ve already had some very typical SF moments, including ~75 of us sitting in a cold park for hours waiting for July 4th fireworks that were mostly hidden by the fog. Gotta love this city :’)

Now, over 180 teams are locked in and sprinting toward the Festival later this summer.

Our founders are shipping (like, a lot)

Mint launched animations for 3D models, Alakazam launched an API for programmable world models, Clayton Farms is opening its SF location for salads, Blueberry’s autonomous marketer went viral with nearly 3 mil views, Womp launched a Doodles collab for 3D toys, and Figment shipped a personal AI you can text.

Jobs alert!!! 🚨‼️

Monid is scaling and hiring its first founding engineer. They’re building the next-gen tool infrastructure layer for AI agents, scaling to 100K agent transactions & closing their pre-seed.

Check out Shengkun’s post, and hit him up if you know someone great, or if you are that someone.
